Shreyashi is an environmental historian specializing in transdisciplinary methods, working on the historical context of climate studies. Shreyashi’s research emphasizes the importance of historical perspectives in understanding contemporary climate challenges, embedded with complex and layered socio-cultural assemblages. Besides her expertise in historical research, she also works with the ‘ethno-graphical’ approach, to capture and interpret evolving nature-culture exchanges through innovative visualization techniques. Shreyashi holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness.
