Linda Bana

Bio: Project Coordinator, Centre for Coastal Management – Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience, University of Cape Coast - Ghana

Linda is experienced with a demonstrated history in extension services, stakeholder engagement and training related to fisheries management and governance. She has knowledge and interest across a wide range of areas, including sustainable practices, maritime law, building climate resilience in marine ecosystems and marine conservation. She holds an MSc in Maritime Affairs with specialisation in Ocean Sustainability, Governance and Management from the World Maritime University. Driven by a passion for ocean conservation, her commitment to effective governance guides her efforts to promote the health and sustainability of marine environments. Her recent research focused on Abandoned, Lost or otherwise Discarded Fishing Gear (ALDFG).
