Victoria Essah is a Research Assistant at the Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Management with a specialization in Agroforestry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Her research interests focus on sustainable management and conservation of natural ecosystems. She is particularly interested in investigating the impacts of climate change on natural resources, and developing adaptive management practices to mitigate these effects, while ensuring ecosystem resilience. She is also interested in exploring strategies to protect and enhance biodiversity within various ecosystems, with an emphasis on species and habitat restoration. Her recent research work was focused on the assessment of cocoa farmers’ perception of climate change impact on cocoa and their adaptation strategies in Sekyere Central District, Ghana.
