Joshua Adotey

Bio: Assistant Research Fellow, Centre for Coastal Management – Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience, University of Cape Coast - Ghana.

Joshua is deeply interested in coastal and ocean processes, particularly how climate change affects natural resources. His primary research centres on carbon stock assessment in coastal ecosystems, such as mangroves. Specializing in coastal zone management, Joshua focuses on the impacts of climate change on coastal livelihoods. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Development Studies at the University of Cape Coast, where he also earned a Master’s degree in Integrated Coastal Zone Management. Among other responsibilities, Joshua is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for donor projects at CCM-ACECoR, contributing to sustainable coastal management.
